The motel is pleasantly updated, very clean, and easily accessible from the main route. The room layout is efficient, with a comfortable bed and good coffee facilities. The continental breakfast provided was convenient and enjoyable, making for a pleasant stay.

We stayed for just one night, but everything was great. the staff was very helpful and accommodating. the location was perfect for exploring the area, conveniently situated next to an interstate rail line and Highway 1. There were plenty of nearby options for food, including a bakery, restaurant, pub, café, and chicken shop.

At Riverbend, the family room was a delight with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I loved the thoughtful touches like cold water in the fridge. Parking was ample outside, though it was tricky with a trailer. a lovely spot I’d recommend!

The room was very noisy. We could hear our neighbors from the rooms next door and the sound of footsteps in the gravel driveway outside was very loud. Also, there weren't any spare blankets provided, and the only one we found in the cupboard felt dirty as it was lying on the floor. it was not a comfortable stay and lacked basic amenities to make it more enjoyable.
